just a FYI,
Hwy 411 ramp to Patty Bridge is 6.4 miles, and if you stop to fish much it is a full day trip. The lower 3 miles or so is comprised mostly of slow water and it generally has an upstream wind that will require constant oaring or paddling to get down river. Nevertheless, it can be a fun float and it is very scenic with the mountains in your window all day.
