Default Caney Fork, March 12, 2006

I was able to get a couple more hours of fishing in today before it is back to college. There was finally a good time to wade the Caney Fork as they have been generating a lot lately. My dad decided to come along with me to take some pictures. Anytime he was nearby, the fishing was awful slow, I think it was the camera maybe . Anyway, I had a decent couple of hours. The fishing was a little slow but not bad. I had maybe 10 to 15 fish to hand with three being "good" fish as far as the Caney is concerned. The good ones were maybe 14 or 15 inches and very fat and healthy and had apparently been in the river awhile. The others were recent stockers for the most part. I was fishing my standard rig for the Caney which is a parachute adams for an indicator with a midge dropped behind. Strangely, 2 of the 3 good fish rose to the #14 parachute Adams. Now for some pictures. Me fishing a nice run
Here is another fisher out on the river 8-)

Finally, here is one of the better fish I caught today

It was good to be able to get out one last time before I had to hit the books again. I hope everyone else had a good weekend and was able to fish a little!
