Hey AA-thanks for the reply and the opinion. I guess I never really thought about it for the mechanics of the fly. Now granted: if Im casting to trout on a tailwater Ill tie wings, but if it's mnt. trout Im after (which it usually is) I go through alot more flies, so it's easier to tie w/o wings. Come to think of it, I do need to practice with wings...
