The Green Weenie has been my fly of choice for higher water during the summer in the Smokies and some of my best days of fishing involve this fly. My favorite way to fish it is with enough split shot to get it deep. The fish absolutely love it especially on the smaller streams! If there is such thing as a "cheater fly" for the Smokies, this may well be it
