Mr. Hartsell would be the one to show you the big fish from that creek. I'f my memory is correct I think he pulled one out two years ago that pushed 22". Anyway, the big fish is there but as you know they are not as easy to catch as the smaller ones. I think nymphing is a good idea for big fish and I think early season and late season would be best. In the heat of the summer it is not so easy. I have noticed that Abrams trout are on average fat compared to fish from other park streams. They do have more to eat on Abrams.
