I also like to fish in the rain. The rain breaks up the surface of the water, which has to make visibility worse for the fish, which in turn can only help us. The previous post is right about the browns, I always get excited when the water gets a little high and murky. One more thing I have observed this summer on the Davidson in N.C., I have noticed that after a really heavy rain, terrestrials fish very well. I guess it's b/c a heavy rain will knock a lot of them out of the trees and off the banks into the water. Something else to consider if your out in the rain. I was on W. Prong of the Little Pigeon yesterday and caught 3 nice rainbows in the middle of a hard rain fishing a green weenie down deep in about 5 minutes.
