Guys, the fly that you are describing sounds more like the fly that Walter Babb has tied and sold at Little River Outfitters for several years. It is tied more like a regular Stonefly Nymph than a true Yallarhammer fly such as you may have seen in the links provided. His pattern does not have the Palmering type of hackle, but it does have the traditional colors of the Yallarhammer fly. It is a great fly and the ones that I have seen tied by him are beautiful. I have not seen a Beadhead version of it, so there may be something totally different. Good luck at finding the fly.
