Watauga is a good choice for winter fishing. I always seem to catch good fish during Jan. and Feb. I posted a pict. of one on the pict board from last Jan. for directions. I also fish in town at the city park and upstream towards Stony Creek. Saturdays can be crowded just like most all tailwaters this time of year so get there early! Don't forget to stop at "PALS" for lunch in Elizabethton. Great chili-cheese hotdogs!
