I fished the Cowlitz. The Kalama and the Toutle (and every other river
) were too high and muddy to fish this past trip. I live in AL now, but lived in Centralia, WA for a couple of years. I love fly fishing for steelies in the Kalama and smaller rivers, however the larger rivers such as the Cowlitz fly fishing is not quite as productive as using a spinning rod. Thanks for helping the fish population after Mt. St. Helens erupted. I am headed back out there this summer for another fishing trip, grab your rod and come along!
