It's been 10 or more years since I was down in there, I'm in decent shape for my age and it was a hard long pull coming out, take your time and lots of water.
Like most I seem to always end up carrying mine and some of my wifes and the kids were still home back then.
In 1986 I carried a measured 82 pounds 5+ miles into the back country, my son was 6 at the time, we stayed 6 days and seen no one, but bears, bobcats, hogs, snakes and lots of BROOKIES.
But wouldn't do it again even if I could go back in time.
