Please Michael this is not rocket science why would I need to know 64ths. It is quite obvious #2 is two inches long and the #2 3/4 is two and three quarters inches long. I am glad to hear that they are clunkers as the vice grip/sledge hammer method can be harmful to the structural make-up of bamboo(it can break it). Also if I need more info on those ferrules I have a book by some Sinclair guy. dave
