Try any of the quiet walkways between the picnic area and park HQ....once yoiu get to the river then the fun begins.....especially is there is a lot of water in the gorge....read somewhere that the gradient here is the steepest of any stream east of the Mississippi....big bolders and a lot of climbing....also...I have seen more bears on this stretch than anywhere else in the Park.....
