Access with a 7 year old
You might try fishing through Elkmont Campground, if it is not filled up. Good access from the first bridge in the campground on up.. From a fellow Kentuckian. Oldham Co & UK! Lived in St. Matthews a long time.
Hope you all have a great stay in the Smokies. The West Prong might be a good try as well, often lots of small fish.
