Charlie, glad you had a great day!

The WPLP is really low and slow right now. I was amazed at how much lower and slower it is than even last summer. It looks like it has not fared as well as some of the other streams in the area. last summer when all the rain was missing the LR basin it seemed to supplying the WPLP with just enough to keep things going. Not this summer, so far. I hope things change...

Saturday we fished below you all and did ok for the conditions. Steve caught about ten fish. Half on a Yellow Humpy Trude and the other half on the ubiquitous BHPT. Since he had the only Yellow Humpy Trude I had tied, he of course caught more fish than I did...Plus I get credit for all ten of the fish he caught, since they were on flies I tied, right?

I managed to catch a few fish, with one of them a nice 10" on a #16 Yellow PA:

Still haven't got the hang of the new camera, the rocks were focused much better than the fish...I think I have it figured for next time, we'll see.

Glad you had a good day. We need to get out and fish some, if the streams ever come back up...
