Don't get me wrong, I am totally against the mine as well, but Sarah Palin didn't kill the initiative. I disagree with what she did, but by definition, a ballot initiative has to be voted on by the citizens of Alaska. They did and it failed. So you can blame the residents of Alaska for that.
