I would buy at least a pack of the small and medium. It doesn't take much weight to overload the small ones. They will float a couple small beadheads or maybe a small split shot. Anything larger than a size #3 or #4 shot will over load it though. You want the indicator to be able to support the weight and stay on the surface. Indicators aren't used just to detect bites
