I see it this way, if you need to weight the heck outta already weighted pattern then the indicator is outta the question anyways? On those tiny zebra tailwater patterns if you are adding split shot as well the indicator could be usefull but when the water is flowing strong the fish ain't looking for size 22? so strip a streamer so the only time i use indicators is to suspend a dragonfly pattern in a lake i kayak fish to slay bream and bass..and yes i do slay them...and yes it is a bobber!
