Left the big guns at home and took the lamiglass 6.5ft 3wt out for some rod bending fun . I love catching redbreast on ultralight gear and poppers. They are in full spawning colors right now.
After 15-20 of them , I decided to fish for something bigger....
First a largemouth showed up.
Then things got really interesting....
Quite a workout for the ultralight gear, but it handled like a champ.
