It's a fiberglass production rod which is still made to this day. The newer ones made in the last decade or so are made in China. I own one of those myself. Before that they were made in the U.S.A. They are never going to be collectibles, but they are nice and very fishble rods. If you like slow action that is. As for the reel. The older ones ( I can't tell if yours is a newer one or not) are made in the U.S.A. Again, the last decade or so they have been outsourced to China. The reel are sought after on eBay in certain sizes if it's the U.S made version. If it's the Chinese version not so much. If I were you I wouldn't worry about the value, you have got a nice small stream set up for very little money. Just go fish with it!
