Default Rain, Wind, and Reds

I was going out of town on Wednesday the 11th of November to attend a class for work. Anyway the weather was rainy and windy, I had gotten all of my stuff packed and was ready to go. I decided that I didn't want to start my drive in the rain. Anyway I checked the tide, and it was going to be high in this spot I just found about 4pm

Anyway I was able to talk my buddy into going fishing on a flat that I wanted to try out. The weather was bad, raining and windy, but it had been pretty warm prior to this so I wanted to take a look. My partner was really lookwarm about the prospect of fishing in the wind and rain, but I talked him into it. We get there and the water doesn't seem like it is coming in. Now we are sitting out there walking around in the wind and rain and there is no water to fish.....then finally we start seeing a little water come in.

I walk around a weed patch to see if there is more water coming in on the other side, and when I head back, there is a tailing red in about 8 inches of water...here they come.

We ended up catching 2 fish each, and saw at least another 15 fish. We also got a chance at casting to 3 more fish a piece. The fish were everywhere. It was raining so hard and blowing so much that they were really hard to spot.

All in all it was a great 2 hours of very productive fishing. Here are some pictures:

My first at 25 inches

Here are some of Larry:

Larry's 22 1/2 inch fish (this was a real fighter, and took him the longest to land)
