Hello,

The Garmin 60CSx is a very nice unit IMHO. I have been using one as a forester for nearly 3 years, very accurate, color display, you can buy them with topo maps already loaded, they have a removable storage chip that store data, so you can swap those out as well. I use this unit to layout timber sales and dowload the data into a GIS program. I have a Vista for personal use, but if I were to buy a new unit for myself I would buy the 60CSx. It has a larger screen and obtains satellites better than the Vista. I think you can get this unit for around $300, they were closer to $400 when they first came out a few years ago.
