Glad you got to catch a fish. Around these parts, I think it's looking like March or maybe April before I'll be feeling the tug of a fish on the end of my line. No trout within a decent drive of here (some stockers in a creek a little ways from here but it will soon be frozen over). My beloved bluegill, crappie and bass are just not interested in much of anything this time of year. The lakes have already had one skim coat of ice which has melted off but another cold snap is on its way.
In another 4 years or so, if the Lord lets me be around that long, and I'll be somewhere close to you in Tennessee.
