About 7 miles if you park down by the Ranger station,but if the campground is not too full you can shave about a mile off by parking up there.It is a pretty easy hike without too many hills but the trail gets narrow and rockier once you get back along the creek after climbing a small ridge.
It should take about 2 and a half hours if you are carrying your wading boots in a daypack with your other gear,I would not want to walk in wearing wading boots.I remember it took a lot longer than that when I hiked in there after the big snows in 93 knocked all the trees down,it took 4 or 5 hours just to get to camp #17.
