Shawn--First of all welcome. Fishing this time of year is, generally speaking, better at higher elevations. That's especially true when it is really hot, as it is now. Road Prong isn't a bad choice, especially during the week, and the same holds true for Walker Camp Prong. Don't overlook the less accessible areas of the West Prong of the Little Pigeon such as the gorge which starts at the Chimneys picnic area. Beyond that, you graciously say you plan to buy my book, and in it you'll find details on every stream of much size in the Park.
