I think part of the reason it gets discussed out in the open here is because you can't pm other fisherman so there is no other choice and that is a fact. Short of posting email addresses online, which isn't advised since you will be picked up by spambots, there isn't any way to communicate privately. I understand from posts by Paula that private messaging was turned off due to abuses. I am really not sure why whoever was abusing it wasn't just banned from the forum instead of the privilege being removed for all of us but it very well could be a limitation of this particular forum software or something.
