About the same reason a Stutz Bearcat, Duesenberg, '65 Mustang, or a '62 Corvette command a lot of money at the auctions. Classic, rare, or outstanding quality are the marks of a classic. If I had kept my '66 Corvette, I could sell it now and pay off my house.
