When I was first getting into trout fishing in the Park I was too young to drive, there was no weather channel, and any idea about carrying around a computer much less a telephone in your pocket was something out of Dick Tracey. I was only able to fish on those occasions when we would visit my grandparents in Sevierville and the last week of the summer before school started. I can remember visiting the lobby of our local bank that had a teletype machine connected to the national weather service to try and get a heads up on the current and projected weather conditions in the Park. Now the first order of business in the morning is to pull up Bryon's Fishing Report and dream about "what ifs" or if I am lucky to figure out what I need to pack. Thank you Byron for allowing a flatlander to fish vicariously through your daily reports.
