    Default GPS map programs....

I did a search and didn't find any.
Do any of you use a GPS with Park trails downloaded?
There is one available called "Garmin Map Source TOPO National Parks" that is suppose to have the trails in it.

    Any suggestions would be appricated.....

For Garmin products, the mapsource topos are your only choice to my knowledge.

The NAtioanl Parks edition is better res (1:25,000) than the Topo USA (1:10,000), but the Topo USA does include the entire country.

a good topo map is far superior to gps in the park.....and trail experience is even better
campsites are on the topo...national geographics 229 is best

If you go to Garmin's site you can view all of their maps on the MapSource viewer.

I have considered getting Topo 2008. I don't visit any National Parks in the east, other than the Smokies, so I can't justify paying that much for the Nat'l Parks East software.

I got that free download in the Garmin. It is really nice with the regular topo 2008. It seems to show all the campsites and trails along with the topo map.
