    Default Lots of small Bows

Went fishing Friday and caught 20+, and after a season opening 87 at golf this morning I decided to try the trout again. Had a great day, was hooking up with fish in pretty much every run. All were caught on a BHPT dropper. All the talk about losing the adult fish last year must have some merit. Most fish were small, with the occasional 6-8"er. No pics, I need a new camera. Been to lazy to go get one...

In the park or not? I went to Little River this PM but me and my buddy only caught two between us. There was a massive hatch of first Quill Gordon's but more Blue Quills than Gordon's. I think I saw some Hendrickson also. I also saw my first Yellow Sally. That is the earliest I have ever seen one in the park.

The water was 51 degrees. How about giving me a call one of these days?

In the park, I saw lots of hendricksons, but could not hook up on the dry. After a couple runs I just went back to the dropper setup. Where you wanna go and when? I'm game for Elkmont sometime soon...

    Kevin!

If the weather holds up, I'm thinking about an extended day trip. I won't go in to the details here. It's 6 miles rt not including the fishing stretch. If interested I will call you or you can call me later this week. I suggest we wait until Friday for a more accurate weather forecast. My buddy Neal might have some other commitment this week and I have been thinking about this place for a long time. He might join us if he can otherwise it's just me. I would have waited for another weekend but the place I'm thinking of is best if spring hasn't come along too much.

    See ya!
