Very good river to stay at and camp. I don't have a lot of time or I would give you some more info. I am sure someone will fill you in.

Hike a mile up from the campground and start fishing.

Yeah that stream gets hit pretty hard near smokemont. I've heard that there are some big browns that swim up from the 'luftee in the lower section, but i still second lee and say hike upstream to get away from the crowds and get into some fish that are less pressured. I have seen some nice browns upstream of chasteen......

    Default Cabin Flats

    Hello ACinEastTN,

If you like solitude and don't mind hiking a few miles you may want to consider the Cabin Flats area on the upper Bradley. It's a beautiful area and you can still catch some browns up that high. The only problem is that there are snakes galore up there, and the bears look well fed. It's around 4 miles from the parking lot to Cabin Flats, but the trail is wide and fairly easy hiking.

    Good luck,

    Neal

They are definitely well fed. They helped there self to me and my buddies trout dinner a few years ago. I was the bigger man and just let them have the fish.
