Is the shop located in west yellowstone? Also did you do any wade fishing in the upper parts of the Madison? That is where we are basing our operations at.

Yes, Blue Ribbon is in West Yellowstone. They're on Canyon (the main drag throught town). They're not as easy to find as some of the others. Go like you're heading out of town they're up close to the city park end. They're just about the last building in town heading kind of north west on Canyon.

I hope Byron and Paula don't mind talking about another shop on their board. I doubt if a shop in Montana is a direct competitor.

    my email address is
    jeffnles1 at insightbb dot com.

If you want to drop a line off of the board feel free. The folks at Little River have always treated me like family and I would not want to take advantage of their kindness.

Shoot a note and I'll fill you in on where we fished and what we found.

    Jeff

    Default Henry's Fork

Did you catch anything at the headwaters of the Henry's Fork? Looks like a great time, thanks for sharing.

It's a spawning area and is closed to fishing. Of course, I saw a couple rainbows there that were in the 24"+ range. There's a dispenser there for .25 you can buy a handfull of trout pellets and feed them. These guys were not only over 2' long, they were as fat as footballs. I bet a pellet fly woud do wonders there, but alas, one would most likely go to jail for trying.

    Flyfishjeep,
Thanks. The underwater shot is the new background on my computer.
