Default Closing Date Above the Cascades

Does anyone know the exact closing date of the middle prong above the cascades? I heard it was this upcoming month, and that it would be closed for several years?

I'm not sure of the exact date, but work up there starts on September 6 & 7. I'll try to find out and report back.

9/7-9/19....got a park memo the other day...closing several areas up there including, i believe i remember little river trail, lynn camp, sam's, and panther creek trails
I started with nothing, and I have most of it left.

    Question

    Sam,

What do Little River and Sams Creek have to do with the Lynn Camp work? I don't doubt it; just curious. Neither of those provide access (back door or otherwise) to Lynn Camp. Or is there some other purpose being addressed by these closings?

Another question - Has there been any discussion about opening Indian Flats before the Lynn Camp project is finished?

Thanks for the information...I wish they would do a better job of updating the park's web site, but I'm sure that's controlled from a centralized location, probably D.C., and it's out of local control. It makes sense that they would wait until after this last holiday weekend.

Thanks for the info. I plan on hitting it up one last time before they close. Is it true that it will be closed for several years.
