    Default Backswimmers

Looking for information on a fly to imitate backswimmers (?)
Have looked several places on the internet with no luck.
Also used the search function here.
    Thanks

Here is one to get you started. I think another common name for them is water boatman. Do a search on that name and see if it doesn't turn up a few hits. Careful if you handle them, they have a nasty bite

Nice fly. I might have to give that a try. I have tied some foam beatles that look very close by using chenelle and foam with small rubber legs. But still a nice tie here that I will have to try.

I've seen a Prince Nymph used in several articles.
