Ha! That's funny stuff. Mark and I are new to the sport and haven't really landed any hogs. I would estimate my biggest to be a bow around 20in. The sad part is, that was the only fish caught that day. We had a great time though. Apparently there is a trick to catching the stockers on the Elk. It was a rough day, but we weren't at work!

Just the walk in the woods and spending time with a friend and God was worth it. Catching a fish was a bonus. Thanks again for the hook up. I sent you an e mail about the Caney. If you would like, I can take a day and show you all of the spots to wade in...You'll have to figure out how to catch the big ones on your own (because I sure as heck don't know).

I hear you can wade purdy deep. If my employer doesn't start calling me into work, I will have plenty of time to go! (apparently the economy is bad, so the way to fix it is to cut my hours so I can't spend any money! )

I might take you up on that offer Dwayne, always wanted to fish the Elk. Or maybe the Caney, and we can teach each other.

You got it buddy, not sure what I could teach you lol. Yeah, the Elk is kind of a hall from Nashville, but the Caney isn't too bad.

From my understanding they're basically both an hour away from me. I think the Elk is a little farther but not too much.
