    Default River System Maps

The formal SmokyStreams.com web site is up and running. There you can view the Little, Little Pigeon and Tuckasegee River system maps mentioned in other posts. Maps for the Pigeon and Little Tennessee River systems are planned. Watch for info on purchasing large-size printed maps (on regular or weatherproof paper) or downloads for printing your own for personal use.

The original Comcast-hosted site will remain in service for several more days to allow time for things to shake out. Thanks again for the input and encouragement.

TIP: Unfortunately the free acess maps are now for viewing only, so printing an entire map using Acrobat is no longer an option. However, you can zoom in and print specific portions of a map at pretty good quality by cutting (using Alt-Print Screen on the PC) the Acrobat window and then pasting into WordPad, your word processor, etc. The print results you get will depend on a number of factors including the extent of the area selected, screen resolution setting, document orientation and margin sizes.
