    Default Tellico River muddy

Saturday Tellico river was muddy brown with zero visibility in the water. Even
Bald River falls was running muddy. It looked like North Carolina was washing away from erosion down into Tennessee. I am wondering if this muddy erosion
in Tellico river is from too many dead trees, or just too much rain.

I am no expert, Rivergal, but I believe that the color in the water that you are seeing is the result of some construction and 4X4 trails. Whenever it rains much, that water can be really dark. I think TU is undertaking an effort to help diminish the problem.

    Did you catch anything?

I was amazed to catch one fish in that mud. That fish must have had great eyesight to see the rooster tail in the murky water. Maybe the silver blade helped.
