Default Anyone ever fish Cold Springs Creek in NC?

I was out wandering around some backroads out of Cosby today and came out at Hramon Den where I saw Cold Springs Creek. It looks like it would be great to fish, and I know part of it is supposed to be hatchery supported. Has anyone ever fished it, or does anyone have any info on the fish and size of the fish there?

I think NCWRC considers all of Cold Springs Creek "hatchery supported". I did stop about half way to max patch last summer and fish for about an hour, caught a few small fish, not very colorful, most likely hatchery fingerlings I guess. The water was warm however, and we were having quite a dry spell. Nice little creek.

Usually the first weekend of the season it gets dry cleaned by bait fisherman. Gets tougher and tougher to fish as it gets later in the year....
