Another New One
Hey everyone. I've been following all of your posts for quite a while, and thought i might as well join in. Some information about me would be that I'm 14, and an avid fly fisherman. There is nothing more i love than when my dad takes the time to take me fishing. Whether it be a small mountain stream or on our drift boat going down one of the southeast's tailwaters. I dont live in Tennessee, but i do fish there from time to time, usually on the Elk, Caney Fork, or Watauga tailwaters. I do a bunch of fly fishing in my home state of Georgia. Most regularly on the toccoa and chattahoochee tailwaters as well as DH sections during the wintertime. I'm looking foreward to being on this forum and learning from the experts!
Welcome aboard Rainbow Warrior!
Yep! Nothing can beat when my son and I are out chasing the trout! Dosen't get any better, except, now he can out catch me sometimes.
Rainbow Warrior--Welcome, and be thankful that you live in an area where you have ready access to trout fishing, and be doubly thankful that you have parental support. Although it has been a long time since I was 14 years of age, I look back fondly to those days when I fished the streams of the Smokies, day after day, while enjoying one of the grandest of all sports.
Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My father-in-law lives in Carnsville not far from the those Ga. tailwaters and we've fished the Chatooga a couple times.
