    Default Fly Fishing Maps

So here is my thought of the day. Biggest problem that @rachhillis and I have when we want to travel somewhere to fly fish, besides not catching fish, is where is the water access? My thought is to create a series of fly fishing maps of creek and streams where people can access local waters to wet a line and enjoy the local fisheries.
I have two thoughts on this idea:
    1) Some places are so crowded to fish because most people from out of town only now a couple access point and that is where people bunch up.
    2) This would not be very popular with some because it would be perceived to “give away secret spots”
Would love to hear what the fly fishing world thinks about this idea. So let them rip.

    hillis-fly,

Rather than make him toot his own horn, I'll send you to JoeFred's web site, www.smokystreams.com. It's about as complete a set of maps of the streams in the Smokies as you'll find. No secrets, just lots of water.

From the land of no trout nearby - NW Alabama - but a lot of smallmouth. Love the trout - just dont get to fish for them that often - closest we have is Tims Ford and its hit or miss most or just plain crowded.

Wouldn't happen to be related to Rachel, would you?

Well, duh, after posting this I tapped on @rachhillis and there she was. You're a lucky guy and Rachel is an old friend to this Message Board. And one of the last two fisherpersons standing on the One Fish Per Month thread.

Drop me a line if you decide to head up our way.

Yep she aint bad -definitely a keeper!

Very proud of her persistence on the one fish per month thread - we both start getting antsy mid-month without her having a fish to post.
