Working on a new painting "Winter Steel" (Or "Winter Brown" if you prefer). Been getting a lot of help from Bob White and it really helps a lot. This one isn't finished. Still have to add trees, water, more things to the fisherman...

I used to watercolor a lot and still occasionally sketch some pen and ink drawings for my amusement when in the mood. My avatar is one of mine.

BRF, if you like fish watercolors, then I bet you would enjoy some of Marks Yuhina's work. scroll down the blog. He is very talented.

Cool! I hope to eventually sell a few. I have a shot at getting in FR&R. Bob is doing a new article on outdoors artists. I'm at the very back of the line, of course, but this latest one may get me in. Yeah, that guys work is nice! There is a lady, Diane Michlen (?) that does some really good water colors.

Wow, I can't even draw a straight line. That is indeed impressive. Nice work.

Good job BlueRaiderFan! I think art is expression of your life and I wish it came easier to me. I would paint pictures all the time. If it is something you enjoy; go for it and define your own style of what you see and what you want to convey in your portraits.

Madson, thanks for the accolades. Definitely have to have my own style. I paint most every day, if I can. It's a way for me to be on the river when I'm not.
