    Thanks for all the input guys.What do you all think about braided or furled leaders.I used 12' braided leaders on B.C. lakes.

    Maurer-

    My 8 wt & 10 wt saltwater rigs all have a pale green color to the lines, such as Scientific Anglers. I don't think the line color will spook the fish on the flats unless you "line" right over them. I usually use a 9 foot leader (or straight mono) with a clear tippet. Seems to work just fine, and I've been all over the Caribbean after bonefish, permit, and tarpon.

    I'm with Casada, don't own a trout line that ain't dark green. Light colors for the brine deep
