Default Classic Wet Fly - "Last Chance"

Never done a classic wet fly before, but a swap I'm in on another board had that as a theme. I looked through Bergman's flies and found one I thought I might try - a "Last Chance".

I wrestled with the wings for a while. Dealing with slips was a new experience. After about 10 tries I ended up with this:

Looks good from here. Duck Quill wings are hard enough as it is but when you are tying classic wet flies where dimensions and cleanliness is the ball game, they are even more difficult.

Nice job on the wings. Quill slips can be a bear to mount. If I could make a small suggestion it would be to either use a shorter hook, or make your floss body a little bit longer. Classic wet flies are often tied on short shank hooks, and generally the floss body should extend to some where between the hook point and the barb. Don't get me wrong it is a nice fly, I'm just trying to add that little bit of detail that will make it a great fly.

Flyman: That's exactly why I posted here... to get feedback on how I can improve my tying. While its nice to hear "that's a nice fly", I like getting the "yeah, but xyz would make it better" feedback. I want to get better! (Guess I can't complain too much, though, I never even saw a vice until 2 years ago.)

Thanks for the feedback and compliments, folks.
