    Default Yellowstone River Oil Spill

This isn't Smoky Mountain related, but anyone hear how the big oil spill on the Yellowstone will impact the fishing. Right now the river is at or near flood stage.

They are "claiming" a 1000 barrel spill. I'm always very skeptical of such estimates, but even so, the Yellowstone was flowing about 60,000 cf/s at the time of the spill. So I seriously doubt if there will be any harm done.

To my knowledge, the spill was in the Billings area and there are no trout in that area due to summer water temperatures.
