    So sorry Shawn but now I know what to get you for your birthday; works good at removing make-up too; so if you date a chick that leaves you with skid marks you will be all set.

    I guess I just love hanging on to a few traditional things like hair wings. Calf tail isn't all that hard to work with and I like the looks of it so much better than yarn. I like calf tail for traditional wings and especially trudes. Nothing looks or floats better. Pick a calf tail with the longest straightest hair you can find. I like to wash mine and brush out the underfur before I cut and stack it for use.

    Beautiful tie there Flyman. I used to enjoy tying and fishing Trudes but have got away from it in recent years. Thanks for the reminder. I think I'll tie a few up for this summer. Any other tips on working with calf hair? I just hate tying with it because its such a pain...
