It was a cold weekend to get out, but I braved it anyways. I fished higher water on Saturday and threw meat. Fish were really active. I have a lot of chases, a few hook ups, a buddy of mine caught and landed a nice brown that was every bit of 24" to 25", I'm guessing it was a helathy 6 pound fish. I didn't stick around for low water. Had baby registering to tend to.
Sunday, I fished high water and low water. High water again, throwing meat. I caught one 15" brookie. The cool thing was it had a 4" shad in its mouth. Still alot of follows, and a hand full of misses. Low water, started off slow in the pool. I got cold and headed to thr truck to warm up, with a quick ride down to Millers Island. I was expecting it to look like Walmart on Black Friday. It ended up not being bad at all. I fished a few runs down the front side and caught fish **** near every cast. These ranged from 8 to 14". All and all it was good to be back out and get some fishing in before Turkey season gets fired up! Fish seemed to have faired well over the winter months, which is a good sign of things to come.
Anyways thought I would post a CLinch Report for you guys.
