Default Fishing Report of various streams with 2 friends to new waters.

Refreshing to have had decent conditions to fish the last couple of weeks. All streams had water temps at 60 degrees and the flows were just excellent.

This road went 4 miles before it ended and 4x4 was engaged and used while exploring.

This little guy watched me the entire time while I got ready to hit the stream. Mother Nature is special.

This rainbow hit a very large articulated streamer in very deep water and broke my rod. Safely landed and released. Look closely at the red TAG behind the eye.

    Water was 60.

Frank had the light on him this morning.

    All dressed up!!!

    Frank with another.

This was one of the most beautiful waterfalls.

    Lots of Grouse.

Going back to this place again.

I've seen these in yellow and white.

    Thank You,

    Breck

What the heck is that hopper standing on? Car roof, slab of granite with beveled edge?

First time I've ever seen 3 grown Grouse standing together like that! Saw a hen with young last year up at Newfound Gap. My GSP would love to put a point on those.

    Bran,

how often do you get to bird hunt?

From age 9 - 18 every weekend from BEFORE daylight till dark was spent a field hunting pheasant, quail, rabbit and then graduated to running fox and coyote with dogs on the woods and fields of Illinois.

Interesting thought.....I couldn't possibly tell you what cartoons or TV shows were on during those days. PARADISE LOST!!!!

With beagles running rabbit we always flushed the birds. Never got to hunt behind a fine bird dog though.
