Default Hello from North Central NC

Hello Everyone, I am a long time "lurker" and decided to join in on the conversations. I only get to the park once or twice a year, but try my best to make the most of every trip. I like to think I have a pretty good grasp on the rainbows and browns (just not the big boys), but now I am wanting to concentrate on the specks. Looking forward to learning from you guys.

Welcome. You should look into getting your Va license. The Smith River isnt too far from you. The savings in gas on trips would offset the costs.

    Default Thanks Oldman

Thanks Oldman I grew up on that river. I have my VA license and fish Henry and Patrick county frequently. I am originally from Henry county and have enjoyed the Smith river since childhood. I only recently got into fly fishing so it
is a new challenge to me.
