    Default Going to the clinch

Generators are off from noon til six tomorrow if anyone wants to meet at Millers. I should be there by 11 or 11:30 rigging up and water watching til the water falls. I haven't really fished since November. So I'm pretty fired up.

Caught a bunch at the weir and some more below the dam on Saturday. Seemed red zebra midges and black zebra midges were about equal in fish preference. I was shocked by the amount of browns we caught.

I fished Miller's on Sunday and had a good day. Olive midges, black wire, black bead.
My posts are worthless without pictures

How'd you guys do today on the clinch? I fished almost all day Sunday at the weir and didn't have much success till finding the right midge pattern late in the afternoon. Once I did I put together a decent day. Didn't see many people out fighting the wind, rain, and picky trout (at least for me until almost 1 o'clock or so).

Fishing has been excellent on the Clinch lately...

Too bad my transmission decided to dump on me while heading to the WWWeek this past Saturday. I hate being stuck without wheels.

No Hackle, Thank you for the post and pics. My last trip there with Mike Bone was excellent and in the worst of conditions. I can't wait to get back.

That's a nice long fish. I did pretty good. Don't know the count but was satisfied with my day. Caught all rainbows but pretty sure the big fish I lost was a brown. Never got a good look at him because he stayed near the bottom and when he got below me the hook popped out.
