    That's what I was thinking, but hadn't seen one like it before. This one was a gift from a friend who found it in his dad's (?) gear.

    I showed it to the guys at breakfast, and no one there was sure either.

    I got one from Herter's in the Mid 60's, probably the first or one of the first bobbins I purchased. Never used in much and gave it away. I learned to tie using my fingers and the clamp with a large rubber washer on the side of the tying table. My fingers could do things then, they won't anymore. Young tyers today need to research the history of fly tying to really appreciate what we have today. Ah the Memories-
