Default Need a Size 3 guide!

I'm building a rod and accidentally skipped a guide mark I made. So, now I have a gap between my stripper guide and the next guide up. I need to put a size 3 there but I've already wrapped all my guides and only have tiny size 1s left. Is there anywhere/anyone that has guides for sale? LRO doesn't have them :/ I haven't seen them at Bass Pro before, but I wasn't specifically looking at the time. I just need a single size 3 snake guide and I don't want to have to pay $5 shipping somewhere online if I can avoid it.

Look up Brent Bonar Custom rods. He builds fly rods out in Kodak. He might have one.

As much as you fish that book should just about be finished Hope you had a good trip. Some friends sent me a very good report from the Missouri yesterday.

    Default Book?

    Flyman,

I am not sure anyone would be interested in a book about How to Lose A Fish In Fifteen Seconds, How to Develop Poor Casting Techniques, or How to Drag During Your Drift. However, I certainly have the skills and knowledge to write those books. Our trip to Montana was not as great as in years past. The low water, heat, and bright sunshine each day reduced the catch numbers. I did catch my first Northern Pike though. I certainly do need to sit down and reduce my fly fishing memory journal to a ten to twenty page rambling of incoherent vowels and syllables. If I were a cartoonist, I might be able to sell a couple of pages.

Have a great rest of the year!!
